Can faith set you free?
Why is it that you believe?
Is truth a constant star, or just a trick of the eye?

Truth will have its shadings
And stories will twist and turn
In our seeking of the real
We'll find lies around every turn

Simple twists of truth
And simple truths of faith
In a simple twist of faith
We'll twist the faith in the truth

Truth is a whisper in the dark
Pain, a feeling in the wound
A flower can grow from lies 
But it's a fragile tender bloom

If you tell me all your secrets
And tell me all that's true
In the spaces left unsaid
Trust will have broken through
