Movin' To Montana

The Unabomber was arrested in April 1996. This was my reaction in a lyric.

A place for his lonely soul
A cabin in the hills
Spinning out his fantasy
To give them all a chill

Frontier to the north
A right turn heading west
Many a man will go here
Waiting to be blessed

The final curtain call
Heaven at last
The end of the line
The end of the past

He's movin' to Montana
His own private Idaho
He's movin' to Montana
Where the livin's slow

Where the air is clear
The sky and the mountains near
Down the lonely river
This lonely man is lost

No one to find him
No one to care
He's movin to Montana
He's leavin' on a dare

He's movin' to Montana
Just to clear the air

The world is moving east
But he's always headed south
Pondering his innocence
Foot stuck in his mouth

He ponders the equation
The solution is elusive
Crunching all the numbers
The answer inconclusive

Deep down underground
In his missile silo
He types a letter to his foe
About the manifesto

The Rula from Missoula
(The demon down below)

[Chorus]
