Hers Is A Lush Situation

| Hers Is A Lush Situation--Richard Hamilton (1957) |
Hers is a lush situation
She never liked imitation
Curved along the edge
And floating on the wind
Hers is a lush situation
'57 Buick
In Industrial Design
Beauty defined
In the curves and the lines
The erotic play
Between girls and machines
A way to be seen
Without saying a thing
Design can change a mind
Without a change of heart
A body of work
In each and every part
The good things never knew
That they were the best
The eye expects beauty
And the heart affirms the rest
